    Description

This is an original vintage brochure entitled "Visibility in the Southern Appalachian Mountains" from the mid-1990's. It was published by the "Southern Appalachian Mountains Initiative" (SAMI) of Asheville, North Carolina.
It is in the form of a 2-page Research Bulletin and measures approximately 8.5" x 11".
The brochure is essentially a list of Questions and Answers about Visibility/Air Quality in the Smoky Mountains. For example:
    - What is Visibility?
    - Why is Visibility Important?
    - But Aren't the Smoky Mountains Supposed to be Hazy?
    - What Are the Historic Trends in Visibility?
    - What is Being Done to Improve Visibility in the Southern Appalachians?
    - What is SAMI Doing About Visibility Impairment?
    etc
Very Good condition - no markings, creases, folds or tears.
If you don't already have this item, it will be a useful addition to your vintage Ozone or Southern Appalachians collection!
