S.T. Dupont brand new Nuevo Mundo Limited Edition fountain pen from 1998. This pen is brand new and has never been inked. All accompanying authenticity documents will be shipped with the pen. Only 1000 of this pen were ever made and this is number 135.
From S.T. Dupont: The S.T. Dupont craftsmen have deployed their unique mastery of lacquering techniques to crate this exceptional "cloisonne" design in genuine Chinese lacquer and engraved gold.
The engravings feature pre-Colombian geometrical decorative motifs. In particular, the image of the snake, a sacred animal stylistically represented by successive rings, adorns the rings and clips of the pens. Each piece in the Nuevo Mundo collection is embellished with spinels, semi-precious stones of stunning blue - like the sky lit up by the Golden Sun.
