    Description

Antique Chinese Military Tiger Fork Polearm - Qing Dynasty.
Here we offer an extremely rare giant specimen of a Tiger Fork trident spear polearm. Tiger Forks of this size are very rare, 21 inches wide from tine to tine. (Left to right)
Forged with long steel collar that fits a 1.5 inch thick pole.
New hand worked wooden pole with brass collared end cap added to complete the weapon.
Patina and condition commensurate with age. I cleaned it a little.
Chinese knives, naginata and other weapons in pictures not included.
Ideal for a collector of authentic Chinese arms, and a practitioner of Chinese martial arts. Particular Southern Kung Fu style such as Hung Gar, Choy Li Fut, etc.
Center spike slightly bent. Probably bent in combat activity.
These formidable weapons were used to hunt tigers, then were incorporated into military use. Very popular with martial artists and Qing dynasty militia units.
Please ask any questions prior to purchase, as we accept no returns after shipping.
For shipping purposes I will need to ship in two parts. The trident head, and the fitted pole taken apart. The trident head can easily be fitted back on the shaft cleanly with a few good knocks.
Not for sale to the U.K or any country/region prohibiting such imports.
