Antique Milward’s Needles Country Store Counter Top Display Late19th/ Early 20th. Century. Original Glass Insets. I believe wood to be Maple.
Flea market fine sold as is for restoration or repair.
When I found this it was full with drill bits, taps & dies. Someone was using it as machinist box. But I could see just a hint of the gold under the paint on the glass inset. Thinking it was a miniature thread display, I bought it. I removed the paint off the glass once home to revere that it was a Milward’s display. There is some damage on top front corners and the side of one drawer. It would look beautiful restored or display it as is.
