Antique wooden baby cradle. We found this cradle underneath some hay in an old barn in the mountains of Roanoke Virgina in the early 1980s my son who is 38 now slept in it all the way home to N.J. and for several months after that. This is the definition of early americana. You can see from the photos the construction is mainly pegs. I think the wood may be cherry with some oak trim on the top. The dimensions are 34 inches long, 20 inches wide and 22 inches tall from floor to peak of the head piece. There are 2 minor cracks on the headpiece which i have shown which were there when we found it. The farm house that was next to the barn was long since gone. Will concider delivery to most locations in N.J.
