Fragrant natural white wood bead mala. A total of 108 white wood beads threaded on elastic thread.  The total length is 32" not counting the tassel.  In the Buddhism 108 is an important number because you must overcome 108 evils to reach enlightenment.
Tibetan Buddhist prayer bead Malas are also know as the Buddhist rosary. Prayer beads are used to count mantras, as your fingers pass over one prayer bead for each time you recite the mantra. The goal is to achieve enlightenment easier thru this process.
Purchased on our last trip to Nepal. The fragrance to these beads are fabulous. Comfortable to wear and easily can be wrapped around your wrist 4 times.
