    Here's the
    Kalavryta, Greece Bronze Commemorative Hellenic Heritage Collector's Medallion.
    The medallion measures 32 mm or 1 1/4" in diameter and is in
    Very Good Condition
    .  Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.
    Note:  The obverse features a Train Crossing a Bridge and reads "KALAVRYTA...PELOPONISSOS GREECE."  The reverse features a Map of Greece and reads "HELLENIC HERITAGE COLLECTOR'S COIN."  This medallion is made of Solid Bronze which has nicely toned.   Much nicer than it appears in the photos.  About the same size as a U.S. Half-Dollar.  The Massacre of Kalavryta or the Holocaust of Kalavryta, refers to the extermination of the male population and the total destruction of the town of Kalavryta, Greece by German

    during
    World War II, on December 13, 1943.
