    Description

1969: The man keeping his fingers crossed at London (Heathrow) Airport is not a nervous passenger. He's Lee Kuan Yew, the Singapore Prime Minister. This afternoon, he left for home with a warning. He said Britain would have to keep its; promises to help him build his own defence forces or he would "shop elsewhere" for a protector. Mr. Lee arrived in London over a week ago in a last-ditch effort to persuade the Government not to pull its troops out of Singapore before the mid 1970s. His mission failed. Photo is 8 inches by 10 inches in size. Shipping and handling is .00 in the U.S., and International is .00. I can combine shipping cost for up to 4 photos.
