Launched in 2007, the S.T.Dupont Limited Edition New York 5th Avenue is a rare piece to find in unused and in mint condition.
During the 1930s and 1940s, American aristocrats living on Fifth Avenue in New York City often commissioned works from the most talented French interior decorators.
The Dupont brothers were ambassadors of French art de Vivre and in much demand in the prestigious Manhattan shops.
The S.T. Dupont Limited Edition New York Fifth Avenue collection is a tribute to New York's architecture and design of the 1930s and 1940s.
This collection features beautiful hand-applied enamel colors that are enriched by multiple engraved arabesque engravings.  Such craftsmanship could only be created by the expertise of S.T Dupont's lacquerers and jewelers.
Approximately 160 hours of work are required to produce a single pen four times longer than a standard lacquered pen.  Guilloche, chasing, engraving, plating with precious gold, and polishing are all done by hand, giving this collection a luxurious luster.
Rare Dupont Fountain pen New York 5th Avenue collection was limited to only 1929 pieces worldwide, referring to the date of first travel Lucien Tissot- Dupont in New York.
The item I am selling is new, never been used and in mint condition.  It is housed in a regular S.T. Dupont presentation packaging with warranty booklet.
