Well, well, what have we here?
Up for bid is this wonderful pilsner-shaped ceramic goblet, commemorating the Ohio Renaissance Festival of 2008, created by the studio of Grey Fox Pottery. The goblet stands about 7-7/8" tall, holding around 16 ounces. It comes to you in excellent used condition, with light signs of surface wear commensurate with age and display, but no large-scale damage, like chips, cracks, or crazing. Winning domestic bidder is to pay closely estimated shipping costs--i.e., either exact, or due to irregularities built into the shipping calculator, within {{detail_product_description}}.77 of actual postal prices--plus {{detail_product_description}}.73 in handling fees (or for Canadian buyers, and 10% surcharge on postage to other international buyers).  This handling fee has become a sad necessity due to the ever-increasing fees imposed by both Ebay and Paypal--imagine that
at a minimum
, on a 99c widget I will lose 90c in fees; the higher the cost and weight of the item, so too the fees.  Because my business is largely based on low-ticket items, without this added cushion my profit margins would not otherwise legitimize staying in business.  So if you want my item--and you know you want it!--that is the bidding contract that we are agreeing to.
I beg you to keep this in mind when leaving feedback about what constitutes "very reasonable" shipping & handling charges--I really am striving to earn your 5-star rating!
