RARE Vintage BANNER Mfg Of Fine Peanut Products General Store Canister Jar.
Unknown history. RARE find. Maybe one of a kind. Large glass canister jar with embossed anchor on the bottom of the glass, possibly Anchor glass co. Tin metal advertising lid is banded around the top of the jar and has a hinge for flip open style lid. General store style jar display and held goods from Banner. Red lid with a white banner flag pictured, trimmed with blue and red script text "Banner" in the center. In blue under the flag is statement of " manufacturer of fine peanut products." Some wear in the lid and paint droplets. Glass has no chips, cracks, etc. Measurements are approx 10" tall x 10 1/2" deep. Lid is 6 1/2" diameter.
