Description

This is a refurbished Newtronics D503V Floppy Drive, tested with several good 360Kb floppy disks. The guide rails for the drive head have been lubricated, and the heads have been cleaned. The drive was left to sit for a few days, and then tested again to make sure it stayed working. There is oxidization on the top of the drive, but this does not affect operation in any way. This drive is a black model, most for sale are white. This drive would go well with an IBM PC/XT or PC/AT restoration. The main motor on the drive has a date of April 12, 1988 on it.
This drive will be shipped with an insert or an untested disk, depending on which I can find. I will remove it upon request/if the drive is designed to not need one.
