This is a magnificent S.T. Dupont Large Oversize Olympio Fountain Pen - VERTIGO - Chinese Lacquer. Condition is "New".
This is also a great collectible pen for an avid S.T.DUPONT fan!!!
Respectable RARE The Vertigo Olympio was produced by ST Dupont from 1996 to 2001. It was actually the first Olympio series, In 2006 the company produced the Vertigo II. Though quite similar in appearance, Dupont altered the original rare squared lacquered pattern by turning int 90 degrees and changed the lacquer pattern slightly.
The ST Dupont Collector website has this to say about the Vertigo:
"ST Dupont created the Vertigo series for the sophisticated clientele in mind. The color pattern is a nice deep combination of amber - brown tones with gold accents. The color is enhanced by rich and optically intriguing squares pattern executed in the finest tradition of the art of Chinese lacquering."
This ST Dupont fountain pen pattern is in excellent new condition with 18kt gold broad nib. It is richly lacquered in an amber- brown and red-brown squares pattern with gold accents. It's a beautiful crafted and unique fountain pen.
