Vintage mid century deco celluloid bakelite closure dress sweater clasp button

Lots of great antiques and vintage textiles, photos, jewelry, paper and more being listed this weekend from a fine antique estate I acquired recently!
Here is a wonderful vintage dress closure!  I believe it is carved bakelite or perhaps celluloid. It is thicker and heavier than I usually experience celluloid, so probably bakelite. It measures 4 1/4" wide! In excellent condition! Colors and attention to detail are much finer than shown on this overcast day!
