Vintage Parasol 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition Dallas Rice Paper Wood Handle

Description

This is truly a precious, unique piece of Texas memorabilia, a parasol from the Dallas “Texas Centennial Exposition” made of delicate rice paper on wood stakes with a wood handle.
It was retained by a relative who went to the exposition and has been in storage all this time.
The parasol is obviously very delicate and has signs of aging including small holes in the rice paper and imperfections in the wood.
